KRAMATORSK/SLAVIANSK, Ukraine (Reuters) - Separatists flew the Russian flag on armored vehicles taken from the Ukrainian army on Wednesday, humiliating a Kiev government operation to recapture eastern towns controlled by pro-Moscow partisans.
Six armored personnel carriers were driven into the rebel-held town of Slaviansk to waves and shouts of "Russia! Russia!". It was not immediately clear whether they had been captured by rebels or handed over to them by Ukrainian deserters.

The Ukrainian "Army" is not just surrendering, they are joining with the "rebels".
If I were Putin, I'd give the Russians some Armored Personnel Carriers dolled up to look Ukrainian, and say they were "captured." Good fun!
Do you think that's what happened here?
And he could have a pro-Rooskie crowd surround several troop carriers loaded with Ukrainian troops and demand that the troops surrender the firing pins to their weapons. That wascally Wussian wabbit!
This is looking less and less like Russia v. Georgia and more like `The Mouse That Roared’. Of course Obama, Kerry, McCain, Brennan, Slow Joe, their brass stooges and all the other usual suspects, and those here, are itching to jump feet first into this mess of quicksand.
I have no idea.
But it would be in character for Puti.
For the record, I’m in favor of massive economic sanctions against Russia for breaking treaties and invading neighbors. I think that’s quite enough to reverse Russia’s takings. We need not have boots on the ground.
But exactly NOTHING is going to happen. The West is feckless. Putin wins. Ukraine loses. That teaches everyone not to trust us.
0bama’s foreign policy: Weaken America.
Your question indicates that you don't really grasp the situation.
There were two offers of financial aid sitting in front of the Ukraine several months ago, a very good offer from Russia, and a very bad offer from the IMF. Yanukovich, the legitimate and elected president of the Ukraine, sensibly took the Russian offer, and Soros and a bunch of Soros-related organizations backed by our own rogue/feral state department pounced, and some of the Nazis in those organizations killed dozens of their own people in a false-flag op and seized power.
Not supporting that stupid **** does not make anybody a "traitor(TM)".
One can always hope...
Matt Drudge is referring to Putin as the leader of the free world
Pat Buchanan believes (as I do) that God is on Putin's side:

200 New Christian churches being built in an daround Moscow:
The Cathedral of Christ The Savior:
calls for world leaders to stop the slaughter/persecution of Christians :
The United States is still demographically a Christian nation but you'd never know it from observing our government. All you ever read about our government doing these days is supporting regimes which persecute Christians and Christianity, and then you ask whose side you think God might be on? You think God could ever be on the side of George Soros, Monsanto, and the Obunga state department?? For that matter do you think God would be on the side of "conservatives" who weren't bright enough to see through demoKKKrat/NWO/Soros/US_StateDept propaganda and BS??

I leave the judgment of others to your own words.
AH I think it already happen LOL!
You might do that. I might do that.
0bama won’t do that. Merkel won’t, France, UK, etc. won’t.
So, Putin wins, without a downside so far as he can see.
That’s dangerous. Putin is just a garden variety bully who will take and take and take until someone bloodies his nose.
Who will ever pop him in the nose? I see no leader on the horizon willing to stand up to him. So everyone loses to the kleptocrat bully for the foreseeable future.
If the Ukrainians are unwilling to do it, why should we?
Other than for Putin having shut down the greentards and their Malthusian agendas in 04, people like you would be rubbing sticks together to make fire by now.
Depends. Some use "oppressed Russian minority," and yammer about George Soros.
I’m sure he grasps the situation much better then you do.
Part of the problem is that the Ukrainians are screwed either way. They send troops with orders not to open fire, and the FR armchair brigade calls them wimps. They open fire, and the FR armchair brigade resumes its bromance with Vladi Putin.
that’s the job of the Russian electorate. we are taking a vacation from nation building other countries.
And “Neo-Nazis” which they won’t shut up about.
And how Putin’s puppet Yanukovich was “legitimately elected”, give me a break.
Some of the Putin boot-licking going on is borderline homoerotric.
From the Wikipedia article on the 2010 Ukrainian Presidential election -
'A total of 3,149 international observers did monitor the January 17 presidential election in Ukraine.
On January 18, 2010, the OSCE announced it would send same number of observers to monitor Ukraine's second round of the election as in the first round. At the same time it called for bringing Ukraine's election laws in line with international norms but nevertheless it endorsed the first round of the Ukrainian presidential poll, saying it was of "high quality" and demonstrated "significant progress".
After the second round of the election international observers and the OSCE called the election transparent and honest.'
Yanukovich's election was at least a honest as Barry Soetoro's.
You make my point for me.
In any case, removal of that swine was just and necessary.
There have been mass defections of individuals to entire formations of the Ukrainian Army and Air Force to the Russians. This includes Su-27’s and Mi-24’s flying to Russian held territory to surrender themselves.
a very good offer from Russia?
Really? Hmmmm, kind of like; “You have a really nice place here. Be a shame if something happened to it.”

$15 000 000 000 and a tax-free Ukrainian exports to Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan was a very nice offer, comparing to anything EU could ever bring there.
To be honest, we shouldn’t get involved in border disputes. Let them fight it out themselves. Why is it any of our business?
That's the part that's wack.
Pro-Totalitarian-Kleptocratic-FReeper? Man. (SMH)
I love you as an opponent. Keep showing your true colors.
Today, nobody will. Tomorrow (Western Ukraine), nobody will. The day after that (pick a non-Nato Eastern European country) nobody will.
Next week, when Puti goes for The Baltics, will someone finally have the nerve? Putin's calculus will tell him "No". And he may be right.
Next Month, Poland?
If not today, at which point will anyone stand up to the bully? Never?
It’s up to the Ukrainians to bloody Putin’s nose....Nobody else is going to do it for them. They want their freedom, they are going to have to earn it.
Might Makes Right, is still the rule...it’s why certain people flourish and some don’t. May not be fair, but there it is.
True. That the Ukes let their military wither should be a warning to all the future stateless Eastern Europeans.
