Like all mergers, the proposed $45.2 billion Comcast CMCSA +1.67% merger with Time Warner Cable TWC +1.3%the largest and second largest cable providers in the nationhas its advocates and critics. There are certainly important questions about what impact the merger would have on consumersbut there are equally significant issues associated with the highly politicized approval process. The Obama Department of Justice, led by Eric Holder, must review the merger and decide whether to approve or block it. Unfortunately, the Obama Administration and Justice Department have a long track record of pushing the rule of law aside and making decisions based on politics.

I need to figure out how to get rid of Comcast.
Thanks for posting this new. Obama doesn’t care about the rule of law.
Don’t you mean Holder’s “ Department of Gestapo Justice, or DOGJ?”
After all, without Gestapo Justice, how would Obama be able to decree which Federal Laws should not be enforced?
Thanks navysealdad.
Well at this rate, don’t go with TWC as it will be one and the same.
The Overloards are going to ensure this disastrous merger takes place. At that level, none of them are GOP or Dem ... they use whoever they want to get what they want.
The 0bama administration is the most transparently corrupt administration in US history.
Comcast was voted the worst company in the US by consumers.
I guess the Obama administration feels pretty safe going after them. It’s not like their loyal customers are going to spring to their defense.
No, it was named worst by Consumerist, which Consumer Union bought from leftist-owned Gawker. The votes come from ridiculously unscientific reader polls.
> Consumer Reports laid off Managing Editor Ben Popken in November 2011.[7] The departure was announced in a final blog post by Popken on Consumerist.[8] Since then, traffic has fallen by over 80 percent, going from .06 percent of all web traffic to .01 percent.[9] Popken subsequently went on to become a Senior Staff Writer and Editor at NBC News.[

Everything this administration does is based on politics. This should surprise no one.
Is the Forbes website a nasty piece of work or what? First off they show you that they track your browsing. Then their “programmers on speed” effects kick in. Wonder why millennials can’t stay on a task? I don’t.
(Sorry to rant, but those kind of websites aggravate me to no end.)
