Californian moderates have such a great victory history. Anyone remember Elizabeth Emken? No, me neither.

There is a mention of Tim hurting Jeff Denham’s race. Hopefully he loses when he tries to distance himself from Donnelly. Michael Medved had Denham on his show to sell amnesty. It was like Hannity with Rubio’s infomercial for amnesty.

A caller from asked him Jeff if he thinks that his amnesty bill will cause a wave of illegals. Denham ignored the question and talked about how patriotic these people are.

The nice guys? Yeah, we already tried them and got buried. If we’re going to get beat either way, let’s at least go down throwing heat.

Even in a hardcore blue state there are people who are fed up with liberals, moderates, and those who appease to leftist politics. Californians are suffering from the effects of a leftist-run government, and instead of being a shining example of the economic greatness of America, it’s been turned into a liberal, politically correct economic craphole!

Well, we can scratch this guy from the support list of the California Republican leadership, and the RNC... What? Are you joking me?

Hope he has deep pockets.

...said Larry Gerston, a political-science professor at San Jose State,“If Donnelly prevails, it indicates that the fiscal conservatives, the evangelical conservatives and the Tea Party conservatives control the party and leave Republicans with little opportunity to succeed in the long run..."

In other words, the candidate who scores a scant 3% support has a greater "opportunity to succeed in the long run". Is that what this "intellectual authority" is trying to say?

I think CA voters are sick and tired ofliberals, I think they are seeing states like Texas eating their lunch. The Golden State is now the Fool’s Gold State.

“This is a battle for the soul of the Republican Party,” said Larry Gerston, a political-science professor at San Jose State. “If Donnelly prevails, it indicates that the fiscal conservatives, the evangelical conservatives and the Tea Party conservatives control the party and leave Republicans with little opportunity to succeed in the long run. If Kashkari can break through, it would be a sea change, and for the first time in 30 years, the party would show that it has some control of the middle.”

I guess he doesn't remember Arnold Whatshisname.

Liberal California Republicans are little more than roadkill. It is a truism that people rarely vote for the candidate of one party who runs on the platform of the other party.

That is, Republicans don’t vote for Republicans who support Democrat ideas, and vice versa. But liberal California Republicans seem to be just as incapable of pattern recognition as are Democrats.

When they act and vote conservative, they provide a *contrast* to liberal Republicans and radical Democrats. And people like a choice in who they vote for. They like contrast. And they will vote for contrast.

When liberal California Republicans get trounced in the polls, their inclination is exactly wrong. They say, “Oh no! We must become *more* liberal!” And time and time again it does not work.

They are stuck on stupid.

"One Republican candidate for governor is a former U.S. treasury official, a moderate who promises to create jobs and fix California’s public school system."

Anyone who says this is a liar, fraud or ignoramus. Government schools can not be "fixed", as socialism is unfixable. How is he going to create jobs in the face of the overwhelmingly Democrat/Commie legislature?
