Republicans, to be seen as a young and dynamic political party, must present a positive agenda that restores opportunity for social mobility and reforms the nation's immigration policies, former Florida governor and possible 2016 presidential candidate Jeb Bush said Thursday.
Bush, appearing at a major fundraiser named after his late grandfather U.S. Sen. Prescott Bush, received loud applause from the crowd of nearly 800 Connecticut Republicans for his immigration reform stance.

and that says it all.
As a republican CEO from Connecticut.Jeb bush will never get my vote.I’m tired of subsidizing all of these alians that have more right’s than American citizens do.
If Bush Gets the nomination.I’m staying home. He won’t get my vote.
So we get Hillary, there’s no difference between Jeb and Hillary.
It can be anywhere GOPe congregate. Like the Bushes home state of Texas with such neocons as Karl (pillsbury d’oh boy) Rove helping them along.
Disagree. Hillary is of a philosophical Marxist bent. Jeb is just a Marxist Tool!
Linda McMahon? Is this another person who is just not going to go away no matter how many times they lose?
Distinction without a difference, the end result is the same.
Jeb just jumped the Shark with his immigration status! Also even if republicans ran Jeb the Nation will never elect another Bush as POTUS!
Connecticut residents who attend the Prescott Bush dinner are known as democrats just about anywhere else. It’s because of the native RINO that I had no choice but to join the Libertarian party. You might not like the Libertarians but look at our republicans.
Time to tell everyone that Karl Rove has jumped the shark...it is over, Karl, Jebbie, Mitch, Crybaby...
Then why the hell should I vote for Jeb?Its a waste of my time.
“Opportunity for social mobility”
I’m sure social mobility is very important to the Bushes of Connecticut. It’s not like any of them are or were particularly talented, but they know and they are the right people.
FUJB
I wonder if GP Bush is laying low.
His Democratic opponent referred to him as “Our Next Ruler from the Bush Dynasty”.
No difference. You are correct. My statement was tongue in cheek.
I do believe that guys like Jeb, or let's say Mitt, believe they are conservative compared to the Dhimmicrats.
In a different era (let's say Kennedy vs Nixon ). There was not enough difference between the two. Kennedy's father, diamond Joe, was going to fund Nixon if his son didn't win the primaries.
Problem today is traditional Dhimmicrats are not running the country, but rabid Marxists are. We need a considerable pendulum swing just to neutralize things. The GOPe does not get that. They still think in the old terms. They are useful idiots to the current Marxist power base.
I won’t stay home but will either write in someone or check out third parties if Bush is the nominee.
id rather see mcmahon run for governor
Connecticut is still the constitution state; it’s just the Soviet version.
The idiot is so popular... they had to close the comments section.
