This all comes down to either beliving that property rights trump squatters rights or the reverse.

That what it boils down to.

Given that nothing in the U.S. Constitution gives the goverment any legal authority to own said land, I will side with the squatters.

The family had cattle grazing on the land before the BLM took it.

I thought “squatters rights” was your talking points for yesterday? Couldn’t come up with a new one today?

Wait a minute Mr. tax

You suggest this guy is a squatter because he had some cows and goats graze on some dusty land?

As government gang bangs the American people 24/7?

What about the tens of millions of squatters the feds force us to pay for?

We pay hundreds of *billions* to government each year to protect and secure our borders. Yet we get absolutely nothing in return except a massive tax bill to subsidize tens of millions of illegals running through our streets. Forced to pay for their housing, food, healthcare, social services, schools..etc.

What's up with that?

You know it's not that simple, tax. This is about the history of that region, open range, government control, and a clash between the old ways and the government.

LOL! The Bundy family has owned the ranch since 1876. The BLM was founded in 1946. Who REALLY is the squatter, and who really is the owner...

The money statement is this:

The dispute between Bundy and the federal government dates to 1993, when land managers cited concern for the federally protected tortoise and capped his herd at 150 animals on a 250-square-mile rangeland allotment. Officials later revoked Bundy’s grazing rights completely.

To me, I now think I know what has been going on. At first I thought, this guy deserves this because he stopped paying his BLM grazing rights money in 1993.

But now we see a rancher, who had 900 head of cattle being forced by the government to cut his herd to 150, which would put most ranchers of this size operations OUT OF BUSINESS for a friggin' turtle.

I hope you and other conservatives can take another look at this, seriously. I thought Bundy was wrong (not to pay his grazing fees) but now I see beyond that and had an epiphany. THAT is what this is all about. A turtle.
