Can you believe the president is going to literally go from a Fort Hood memorial honoring the fallen and then head to a fundraiser hours later? Seriously, where is this guy's advisers?

The fundraiser was planned ahead of time. The Fort Hood Memorial was delayed so that the taxpayers would be on the hook for the travel expenses to the party.

After the memorial ceremony, Obama will come to Houston for a congressional fundraising dinner at the home of local attorney John Eddie Williams. The private, high-dollar event also will feature Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi.
Obama will spend the night in Houston before speaking at the LBJ Presidential Library Civil Rights Summit in Austin Thursday and then returning to Washington.
