On “dope” issues, nobody’s picture is complete without asking why America felt it necessary to ban something that was wide open through the 1800’s. I see scapegoating here. Even the bible says that is the wrong approach.
I agree with what President Ronald Reagan and his wonderful wife, Nancy, had to say about drugs. President Reagan's First Lady made it clear that Americans should be "unyielding and inflexible in your opposition to drugs". I concur completely. I don't want to bother dear onyx with a ping since she's got way too much to deal with now, but
her thoughts in this thread are shared by me.
