No concerns here.
I’m liking Cruz a lot.
We do our part, and trust God with the rest.
I don’t have fear or panic, especially at this stage of the game.
I pray that the true Christ which leads to spiritual truth ihabits every heart.
There is no doubt that the ramping up of the false one is at hand.
God will bring about His will.

Cruz has has Godly politics and is a social conservative, something we don’t see in the others mentioned in the article, Hillary Clinton and Rand Paul.

For Christians the choices are easy.

What’s his spiritual life like. A lot of people profess values then go off and betray Christ in a big way later.

So much better than Rand Paul’s.

Ted Cruz is a true Christian and will do what he can, to support traditional American values in the federal government, Godly American values that Rand Paul has already come out against, such as preserving marriage.

Don’t worry, Cruz won’t betray Christ, as have Paul and the libertarians, by professing Christ in public and screaming out how holy they are to the public, and then supporting the devil’s agenda in politics.

Please provide sources. Can you even say which church congregations each one calls home?

Paul does grasp the virtue of obeying the dictum that we should not trust in princes. He wants as few of them as possible. Cruz? He sounds like he is happy with keeping up the big government if only it were Christianized. I say that approach is more likely to drag down the church than to bring up America.

My fave is neither, but Sarah Palin, because of her grasp of the obvious.

I’m shocked at your reaction.

The first thing you do is leap to the defense of Paul and his satanic call to end the fight against the homosexual agenda and the social liberalism destroying America and driving God from our public space and Paul’s call to move left, to accept gay marriage under his control as president and to make the GOP like the democrats, on such issues.

Cruz is a small government Christian, who would try to end federal support for gay marriage in the military and any other social liberalism being supported by Paul.

Perhaps because Cruz is an Evangelical Christian, and son of an Evangelical Minister, while Paul is the son of a cult leader.

Some use their politics to create a libertarian/liberal Sodom and Gomorrah, which leads to ever more government and liberal power, some fight for traditional American, conservative values, and small government.

The first thing you do is leap to exaggerations and lies and feigned shock. That is your sadly normal approach. I wish it wasn’t, but I can’t change you. All I can do is keep calling you out on it.

Is your idea of small government simply expurgating support for one single vice? How about a whole host of vices all of which are mutually supporting?

And again... sources please. If Cruz came out and said he wants the government to be as small as Paul says he wants it to be... AND sans vices... that would bring Cruz ahead of the race. All I see is blind faith assertions on your part.

Charitable guy... with other people’s money again. This might ameliorate the voting dilution problem (assuming there was some kind of integrity in voting) but not the welfare drain problem.

My you are being a self repeating parrot.

And is it all about you and your shock? It sure sounds like it. Try not to be so self centered. You’ll do saner things.

It’s strange to see someone so obsessed personally with a stranger as you are with me.

You reduce about 80% of your posts if you would just focus on the freerepublic topics and thread subjects.

You wanted to know something about the small government conservative Cruz’s religion, versus the larger government, gay marriage benefits Rand Paul.

You could at least acknowledge that you got the information.
