The NSA is his — and the democrat party’s — best ally in the upcoming elections and in negotiations of important legislation. What better tool to dig dirt onto and compromise your opponents than a government agency that can track your every phone call and computer key stroke?

ScottinVA:" The NSA is his — and the democrat party’s — best ally in the upcoming elections and in negotiations of important legislation."

Exactly true !
At least Snowden never lied to us , or violated citizen's Constitutional rights through OVERREACH .
And the President :.. Uh .. not so much !
(from the article) :"Rather, the Obama administration has been working hard to protect the NSA’s wide-sweeping powers beyond the public’s eye.
As the New York Times’ James Risen recently commented at the George Polk Awards,
the administration “is the greatest enemy of press freedom that we have encountered in at least a generation.”
