Cowardice Blocks Pew’s Chance To Tell The Truth About Islam
The Hayride ^ | 29 March 14 | Christopher Holton

The Pew Research Center just released a report this week based on 2012 data which details the use of religious police to enforce what Pew calls “religious norms” and, in one case, “social restrictions.”

The data, and the graphic that accompanies the introductory article, show that 17 nations employ religious police. What the article does not mention is that 15 of those 17 nations are Islamic.

They should let it be said, or any normal person will assume all 17 are Islamic.

They’re called mutawas.

If you walk hand in hand in public with another male you’re alright.

But if you hold your wife’s hand while walking in the street, you will be stopped and will receive a tongue lashing for public indecency.

Let's not kid ourselves. We have religious police in America. It's of relatively recent origin, but we do have them. They don't (yet) take your life for violating the national religion's requirements, but they will take your freedom, your time, your money. Each time the government enforces it's religion of "neutral religious expression" it violates the tolerance that the Founders expected when they wrote the First Amendment. Each time someone is taken to court for praying, for having harmless signs, symbols, or items of religion that are ruled inappropriate because they violate the "religion of neutrality" and someone is "offended", then the religious police and the religious judiciary are enforcing their religion. Each time Hobby Lobby's are taken to court at the cost of millions of dollars simply to defend their religious worldview or have it stripped from them, then the religious police are enforcing the "religion of neutrality" that has been imposed on our nation.

And when the only ones not exempted are the Little Sisters of the Poor because they have religious objections to contraception, euthanasia, and abortion, then the "religion of neutrality" is being vindictive and indicating they have every intention of forcing their religion down throats and forcing believers to knowingly elevate the government and its acceptable religion above God.

Make no mistake "enforced neutrality" is NOT free exercise and IS an establishment of religion.

In the Hobby Libby case, the three biddies leading the dissent in the SC, have abortion as their religion. They seem much like older women I know who view all politics through the lens of whether abortion will be limited, available, whathaveyou. They grew up in a time when abortions were illegal, and either participated in an abortion, or know someone who did. Their worldview is so colored with the horror of what they or their friends experienced, they don't want anyone else to go through that. They have no sense of right/wrong about killing a baby (and that maybe that was actually part of their horror), they just want clean clinics, ones that don't judge, and no limits.

They cannot be reasoned with. I see this in the line of reasoning coming from the women on the SC; they will force their religious views (abortion) on the rest of us, on Hobby Lobby, without even a thought that they have no legal authority to do so under our Constitution.

Overall campaign to convince Americans that islam is a religion for one and two, peaceful and fun loving. Did they forget to include the human slaughter houses in syria where they are slaughtering christians alive like cattle? How about old imam’s sending out thier squads in egypt to kidnap 10 and 12 year old girls from christian families to be raped and indoctrinated? Keep your heads out of the sand people do your own home work dont believe the sh## they are feeding the masses

I very, very strongly agree, dear brother in Christ!

Indeed, it is just a matter of time until the 7th Circuit Court decision that atheism is a religion becomes a factor in a Supreme Court decision.

By the Supreme's decision in the 60's to remove God from the publicly funded schools (which then spread to all publicly funded venues) - the court established a-theism as the religion of the land. Not by referendum nor by legislation, but by judicial fiat - and that in direct contradiction to the First Amendment.

Whatever happened to "or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" (religion)?

Oh wait, that's part of the Constitution, what the Left are trying to destroy.
