Latvia has offered military assistance to Ukraine

Latvia has proposed to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine aid in the further development of the Armed Forces and improving defense capabilities , the Latvian Defense Ministry reported . In a telephone conversation Friday, defense ministers of Latvia and Ukraine .

Latvian Defense Minister Raymond Vejonis offered under bilateral cooperation to send experts to Ukraine , which could assess what help Latvia could provide the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and its armed forces .

"Latvia together with the international community strongly condemned the annexation of the Crimea and Russia expressed its condemnation of the actions against Ukraine. Now Ukraine is important that there be international partners , who thus would confirm the solidarity and support " , - said Vejonis . March 22, 2014 , 12:09
