"Heisbourg said, “You have on the table in the United States the issue of: Are you going to export hydrocarbons or not? And the Europeans have on their table: are we going to stop our silliness about shutting down existing sources of production of energy – nuclear energy in Germany -- and preventing ourselves from exploring new sources of energy like unconventional (shale) gas."

Europe losing confidence in Obama's policy of hope and change, fairy dust and peace prizes? When the rubber hits the road, they want the gas and the nukes.

Too chilly for golf in the DC area, I suppose. Heck, with Moochelle out of town, you’d think he’d be sneaking smokes in the Rose Garden, eating salty-buttery snacks, and having a grand time watching b-ball and checking his brackets.

Obama Flies to A Europe Shaken by Putin's Bold Strategy

I didn't know there were basketball games going on in Europe.

the 1949 NATO defense partnership designed to prevent a Russian invasion of Western Europe.

Oh, yes. I vaguely remember something like that. But Obama thinks the purpose of NATO is to invade countries anywhere around the world and install Muslim terrorists.

Actually, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton thought that, too.

They think they are "shaken" now, just wait until O gets on-scene and tries to get in the middle of their business.

Worrying about Russia is so 1980s... haw haw haw... someone needs to enlighten those backwards Europeans that the cold war is, essentially, beneath our own Great Leader.

Having made his brutal assault on the American people with Obamacare, Obama must divert his attention to the world stage, so he can spread his dystopic gift to everyone.

Unless Europe can find a better friend and ally than Obama, they are screwed. Obama has his bag of sanctions and tough rap, but none of that makes him more than a limp-wristed faggot without substance. The Western left might not see it, but Putin does, as do all real leaders.

Why don't I hear anything from any politician in the US about our need to let the EU defend itself and to station US troops along our southern border? It does indicate that none of those politicians, even those who patronize constitutional conservatives for votes, actually see the issue as we do.

That would be that the US is being invaded, and our military needs to protect US citizens on both sides of our southern border, stop the invasion, and send home invaders.

And hope that if when the time comes portions of the US can vote themselves out of the federal government without violence.
