Germany on Saturday accused Russia of trying to splinter Europe, as a Cold War-style struggle over the future of ex-Soviet Ukraine ratcheted up following the Kremlin’s defiant annexation of Crimea.

The haunting warning from a nation whose friendship Russian President Vladimir Putin had nurtured over his 14 years in power came amid Western efforts to shore up backing for the besieged interim leaders in Kiev who toppled a Kremlin-backed regime last month. […]

The foreign minister of Germany—its economic power playing a decisive role in forging Europe’s response to Putin’s increasingly belligerent stance—warned that the continent’s entire future was at stake. …

Well, that’s his plan, after all. And it doesn’t look like it will be too difficult to accomplish.

this may be the answer to the European Muslim problem.

In order to face down the Russian threat, they must stop succumbing to the Muslim demands and invasion. It is a tough decision to make when your spine is made of lemon jello.

Breaking up the EU would be the best thing for the countries suckered into a union set up in such a way that it can’t work.

So, Putin may be a helpful angel in this case.

“Breaking up the EU would be the best thing for the countries suckered into a union set up in such a way that it can’t work.”

It would appear the EU was designed along the model of the Supreme Soviet. It’s a council that runs everything but has no land and no people. It runs (or is supposed to run) the individual states. When the Soviet Union broke up there was no place for the “soviet” to go to and nobody to follow it. Why on earth would a bunch of European communists (the French and German leaders who started the EU were unabashed communists) pick a model that had already failed? Well, both the French and German voters had thrown out those two leaders. So, they created a new political pond in which to become scum.

If the West is breaking up it is because it is entering a decadent post Christian neo pagan “multicultural” era which is doomed to collapse. Russia has little or nothing to do with it.

Why have French-wine socialism when you can have Russian-vodka socialism, eh comrade?

So the EU bankers don't get Crimea and its ports but get saddled with western Ukraine, an historic hotbead of Nazism and incompentence at defending itself and self-sufficiency?

Can we vote to get rid of the wealth-sucking bankers and globalists?

Western Ukraine, where Ukrainians took great joy in kicking out the Poles at Stalin's behest in 1939.

Nah; in the EU, you have to vote again until you vote the way they want you to vote; and then they stop you from voting.
