The fact that Leftists are in control of our schools tells me that entire generations of children are going to be indoctrinated to believe that gun rights don’t exist or are seriously curtailed. When they get older, and a school shooting or mass murder happens somewhere, the media will parrot the gun control lines, and these kids, now young adults, will wonder, “I thought that’s how it always was? Just do it!” At which point, gun rights will be stripped wholesale without so much as a whimper. I pray I’m long dead before that day comes.

As written, I don't believe the 2A could be interpreted as saying anything about "certain" weapons, saying anything about registration, or saying anything about prisons.

Maybe they are using the rules in Illinois. However, if they are they should not use Second Amendment to explain it, but say, this is how the Second Amendment works, but here in Illinois, we do it this way and explain the state law. That would be the fair way to do it, but of course, liberals don’t play fair.

Back in the ‘60’s, my textbook said the 2nd amendment didn’t include individual gun ownership.
