Yep — if everyone had to pay their taxes from their own bank accounts like the self-employed do, then there would be tax reform. If I could change two laws I could turn this country around. First, I would outlaw withholding and quarterly payments. Everybody would have to write a big annual check by April 15th and no one would be getting anything back.
