The government has no right to meddle with and control the internet. It is a network, interconnecting millions of computers throughout the world. The government has no right to say or do anything about the internet.

[Article] Australia's communications minister Malcolm Turnbull, had very mixed views. He applauded the decision, calling it, "A momentous day in the history of the Internet," and said American involvement was "central, but increasingly symbolic." America, he added, "has aroused more and more controversy and from some quarters animosity" as stakeholders wonder, "How could the Internet belong to the world and yet at its very heart be overseen by a contract with the U.S. Government?"

Ummmm .... because America and an American government agency invented it and set it up?

Guess it's time for the liberals to start stealing people's stuff again .... because they're successful.

The fact that the U.S. has stopped insisting on American control of DNS and ICANN is yet another indication that President Obama is willing to trust the "international community" to do the right things.

America-hater Obama strikes again, this time alienating the Web. Carter gave away the Panama Canal (the Chinese run it now -- anybody here think that's good? .... didn't think so), and now Obama throws the Internet to the wolves.

I'm telling you, this guy really is a traitor, Benedict Arnold times 1,000,000.
