(Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin accused the United States on Monday of being guided in its foreign policy not by international law but by the "rule of the gun."
"Our Western partners headed by the United States prefer not to be guided by international law in their practical policies, but by the rule of the gun," he told a joint session of parliament.

Kosovo....Iraq....Libya....Egypt.....Afghanistan......is he wrong? Maybe some of those conflicts were justified, but he does have a point.
What a world. The US is defending violent takeover of governments. Russia is defending the ballot box.
The US/NATO attack on Serbia and recognition of the secession of Kosovo is going to be used endlessly to beat the US over its head.
As it should...It was a stupid, stupid move on our part.

Lucky for us the Democrats chose a Commander in Chief who is an arrogant Nobel Peace Prize winner in Mom Jeans who looks like an ass when he leads from behind.

Putin lambasted the West hypocrisy. Western nations had endorsed Kosovo’s independence from Serbia but now denied Crimeans the same right.
He said, “You cannot call the same thing black today and white tomorrow. The Western partners had crossed the line over Ukraine and behaved irresponsibly. Ukraine’s new leaders include neo-Nazis, Russophobes and anti-Semites”.
Putin sought to reassure Ukrainians that Russia did not seek any further division of their country: “Don’t believe those who try to frighten you with Russia and who scream that other regions will follow after Crimea. In the hearts and minds of people, Crimea has always been and remains an inseparable part of Russia. We do not want a partition of Ukraine. We do not need this.”
Yeppers.
And, in this gunfight between Obama and Putin, PUTIN is the one holding the guns.... PUTIN is the one willing to USE those guns, and PUTIN is the one who HAS WON.
Obama, Kerry, Hagel, and Clinton are re-fighting their Vietnam War the way THEY wanted to in the sixties. By surrendering to the Communists.
The US is now all about protecting Muslims and Gays. We have been doing the Saudis’ bidding since Bush I was in office.
