Frankly, it should have been done in 1994, in exchange for Ukraine keeping their nukes.
But then we are talking about the inept Clinton administration here, who also broke up Yugoslavia.

The solution to this is: (1) Finlandization, i.e., Ukraine as a border state will be neutral and not be split in half by Russia nor join NATO; and (2) Federalization, i.e., Ukraine gives some autonomy to its regions with respect for minorities and languages.
U.S. should not have supported violent overthrow of a freely-elected government. It was stupid. Elections were coming next year and this should have decided things.
Russia wants to avoid anti-Russian crazies from West Ukraine turning Crimea into a NATO base.

Oh I am sure that there will be a pack baying to go to war over it, and fight to the last drop of someone else’s blood. It is a required reflex in the NWO.

This was a given from the get-go. Crimea has always been Russian-leaning.
But now Russia has lost influence among Ukrainians...because the most influential Russians in Ukraine were in Crimea.

Who cares? Russians belong in Russia. Yawn. Too bad Obama doesn’t take OUR borders as seriously as he does Ukraine’s.

There is plenty than can be done and should be done about it. It is time to help the Russian people to remove the criminal element in their government with an internal regime change and put Russia back on the road to a real democratic republic.

In 20 years, after we grant amnesty to all the illegal aliens, California will likely vote to secede from the US and join Mexico. This will be followed by Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.

One question that remains is how the Soros Obsessives and Alex Jones followers decide that their hero George Soros has been involved. I mean, we know that Soros directed the Maidan uprising, that has been established. Now, is he also behind this Crimea referendum or not?

Here’s my political theory: when Americans can no longer tell freedom from slavery (such as in the case of the Maidan uprising against a post-Communist oligarchy), it is little wonder that they elect a Communist as their President and in face of that one’s obvious failures, elect another Communist as mayor of New York City.
