I agree with most of what you say, but one of the reasons Pelosi and Reid can act quickly and any way they want is that they have the cover of the MSM, Repubs do not. You know as well as I if Repubs did what the Dems have, it would be the number one story for weeks, and it would be negative, unlike with the Dems when, if it is covered, it is positive and the Repubs “caused” it. Still, I agree, they need to act more, and more quickly. That said, I also think that there is a lot of truth to the idea that the Republican establishment is happy the IRS is going after the Tea Party and is in no hurry to slap the hand of the IRS. To me that makes the GOPe no better than Dems
You are right on. I forgot all about that moron congressman from the CBC and his remarks about Guam tipping over and capsizing. Another one of Obama’s brain surgeons. Now...please....don’t take this as racist....because there are millions of America Blacks that are endowed with good common sense, smart brains and massive talent....just not the ones called Democrats and in the CBC!!! It is always much better to vote “for” something than “against”. Since Reagan the Republican message to its base has been, “vote for us because we aren’t as bad as the Dems.” After 25 years of constant betrayal and lip service by the GOP elites the base is disillusioned.
In contrast the Dems are able to consistently deliver more to the constituent groups that comprise their base. They are rewarded with passion, energy, and extremely loyalty.
There is no real Republican leadership or game plan. The party is run by administrators. They have no interest in driving an agenda. Their only priority is being reelected so they can enjoy the spoils (power, money, fame). The Tea Party is an annoyance so it must be destroyed.
