The monument, also known as the Peace Cross, is lit up at night and located in a median between the busy interchange of Baltimore Avenue (U.S. 1) and Annapolis Road (Maryland 450) in Prince George's County. It was formally dedicated in 1925, and a plaque on the monument lists the names of 49 county residents who died in World War I....

A similar legal battle has been happening in San Diego over the Mt. Soledad cross. I think the Supreme Court will take that case. And the legal precedent would likely apply to this cross as well.

The legal case in San Diego has been going on for over 20 years. So people in Maryland should not hold their breath about this settling anytime soon.

There's a similar monument in Maryland on St. Clement's Island, the site of the landing of the first Europeans in Maryland.

America was founded based on Judaeo-Christian principles.

References to the Bible, God and those principles have suffused our public life, history and public documents from before our inception. Most Americans do not find things like this offensive. Most Americans recognize our debt to the Deity for our existence and survival and until recently would never even seriously consider complaints like this one.
Most Americans find the continual attacks on our Judaeo-Christian values and heritage by these radical atheists to be repugnant and offensive.

Its about time the majority of Americans do whatever is necessary to prevent these groups and those parties aiding and abetting them - even to the point of massive public disobedience - from accomplishing their goals of IMPOSING on the MAJORITY the WILL of a small MINORITY!!!!

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH AND THIS MORE THAN ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Althought this is truely despicable and downright offensive, the sad reality is that atheists are willing to fight for their objectives, being comfortable in their knowledge that most of the sheeple in the U.S. have been reduced to a docile and compliant state by an overbearing government. A once proud America is fading before our very eyes.
