Imagine the metadate God has on each of us: words, actions, thoughts, motives....
Content is not metadata.
If they’ve found anything good about me I wish they’d tell me and God.
The difference is that it isn't twisted, abused and cherry picked, or otherwise manipulated to falsely accuse or bear false witness.
The lawful citizen fears the data collection done by evil people, especially now that expectation of privacy is equated with "hiding something".
In the final judgment the nosy data abusers will be griping at God when the list of their own personal behavior is unfurled before them and judged righteously... while those who were falsely accused/abused/fined/fired/incarcerated and/or death paneled by manipulated metadata will be walking by, buzzed right on through the gates.
To paraphrase Lloyn Bentsen "I know God and the NSA is no God!"
