Right on, there are worse books out. Hey, so Rush wrote some new books this past half-year and getting good reviews...more power to him. Some FR-peers need to chill out(I mean that in kindly terms) the topics that are important will be talked about shorty(3 hour show after all).

not a tat....a sticky removable tat
Good Lord! I had the misfortune of having to stop for gas in Gary Indiana.
Kabul is probably safer.

I vaguely remember that show, too. Wasn't it hosted by Walter Cronkite?
I'll have to see if I can find some old episodes to watch. Wonder if they showed liberal bias.

Ahhh; we used to get those washable tat transfers in bubblegum packs in the 50s; drove our parent nuts.

Yea, I'm 5 miles south of the lake, and we get about 8 - 10 feet of snow each year ... vast majority is lake effect.
Kind of funny to hear how places like Atlanta get themselves all screwed around over 2".
Heck, we get overnight "dustings" of 4"-6" all the time and it's like, okay, I'll leave for work 10 minutes early.
But now, mid-March, enough already.

Yup, old Walt hosted. Not that it meant anything to me at the time, I was too young to care about announcers.
The Wiki piece said some episodes are available on DVD.

Dear Rush,
Yes, most people live like conservatives, but that is irrelevant. The populace has empowered a federal leviathon that is now able to act without being impeded any longer by the voters. The EPA can shut down businesses, the HHS can deny medical treatment, the IRS can target political opponents, and on and on and on. It will only continue to evolve further towards tyranny.
While the average American’s eyes glaze over at even a mention of such things.....

I read that CBS has retained the copyright. They have a compilation for sale on DVD.

Some FR-peers need to chill out(I mean that in kindly terms) the topics that are important will be talked about shorty(3 hour show after all). It is not a 3 hour show as you put it. It is 3 hour show minus the time he spends on this endless book promotion. So we get a lot less discussion of the far more important issues.
The Democrats own the media. We have only a few outlets with Rush's being the most important. We cannot afford to waste time on self-promotion.
Yes, I can change the channel and unfortunately I do more and more.
Someone on this thread, some time in the past, said that Rush's books are an attempt to change the thinking in kids who will be our future leaders. While this is a valuable goal, we have to worry whether this country will survive the next three years with this diabolical incompetent in the White House.
Those of us who complain about his wasting of time are referred to as "whiners" (see above) and trolls. Not so. We are stating the obvious.
