Executive Order -- Blocking Property of Certain Persons Contributing to the Situation in Ukraine
The White House ^ | March 6, 2014 | Barak Obama

Posted on 03/08/2014 5:30:50 AM PST by PapaBear3625

I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, find that the actions and policies of persons -- including persons who have asserted governmental authority in the Crimean region without the authorization of the Government of Ukraine -- that undermine democratic processes and institutions in Ukraine; threaten its peace, security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity; and contribute to the misappropriation of its assets, constitute an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States, and I hereby declare a national emergency to deal with that threat. I hereby order:

Section 1. (a) All property and interests in property that are in the United States, that hereafter come within the United States, or that are or hereafter come within the possession or control of any United States person (including any foreign branch) of the following persons are blocked and may not be transferred, paid, exported, withdrawn, or otherwise dealt in: any person determined by the Secretary of the Treasury, in consultation with the Secretary of State:

This piece of sh!t POTUS is going to drag us into a fight he has no intention of winning, at any cost.

The Russians will respond and they'll raise the bet.

Congress or JCS needs to rein him in and fast.

I’m sure Putin is scared to death.

A pansy former Community Organizer faces down a hard core former KGB Head of Federal Security.

What could possibly go wrong?

Confusing. Since the most recent head of Ukraine (the one supported by the USA) is the result of an armed rebellion and the democratically elected leaders include the Ukrainian president Yanukovich who is hiding in Russia, who is Obama arresting or freezing funds? Himself?
And it will get worse when the Autonomous region of Crimea (was autonomous before this mess started) Votes to be annexed by Russia. How is that not democratic?. Is he going after the current Ukrainian government?
If I read it in the light I think it was intended, then it looks like a direct attack on Putins personal assets. Not sure if that’s smart move for ‘professor’ Obama

What is really sicking is conservatives ignoring the murdering KGB thug in the room because they don't like the kenyan.

Respectfully, Don't you think we conservatives can do two things at once?

We can recognize Putin is a thug without losing track of the fact that Obama is no different.

I'm not going to rally around Obama just because he is saying bad things about Putin.

I have no doubt Obama would call the tanks out on Americans just as easily as Putin did on the Crimea.

That may be a girl under that Russian tank, just like those were Americans at Ruby Ridge and Waco. And don't forget Fast and Furious either.

“...What is really sicking is conservatives ignoring the murdering KGB thug in the room because they don’t like the kenyan...”

I don’t believe conservatives are having a “lovefest’ over the KGB thug at all.
They don’t just “dislike” the kenyan, they outright utterly despise the kenyan foreign national that has now declared himself king, and ruling over us as a dictatorial tyrant.
I think its more the old; “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” thingy.
So far, the KGB thug is the only one that hasn’t bowed down to this asshat as ruler and king of all the earth, thus making th KGB thug a world hero.

When Putin has more class than a US president, things have gotten pretty sad.

I thought this was satire.

So did I.

It is getting hard to tell the difference.

I’m not impressed, and I’m a bit disappointed, that Ukraine would call tire-buring thugs in the middle of their beautiful city a legitimate way to get a new government.

You're more impressed with the thug president Yanukovich who is responsible for the shooting and killing of about 70 or more unnamed protestors?

Why do the “lyin’ king’s” speeches remind me of “Crazy Train” by Ozzie?

Oh Yeah...

This would sound like a logical move. The trouble is, what does Barack really think are democratic processes? I guess putting in a usurper mayor by means of a motorcycle gang is even beyond Barack’s pale, but Democrats should tread carefully when trying to claim that high ground.

Does this also apply to Americans who oppose his Ukrainian policies and speak out?

How many such emergencies have been declared? Is this the first, or only one of a series of them which reduce the concept near to that of crying wolf?

“...When Putin has more class than a US president, things have gotten pretty sad....”

That’s the understatement of the year. odongo is sooo much worse than Putin in so many ways as we’re all probably about to witness here shortly. And never forget the party that foisted this turd on a stick clown king upon us. I don’t care if they’re even just running for dog catcher, never ever vote RAT...ever...for anything. Friends don’t let friends vote RAT. The democratic party of your fathers and grandfathers is long dead. Today, they’re outright pure insane communists....period.
The term “conservative democrat” in today’s political climate is an oxymoron.

You know something? If protestors behaved that way in DC, they'd be shot at. Actually, they'd be arrested way before that. During the bogus government shutdown, veterans were arrested for the crime of going to THEIR memorials.

And about the shooters? I'd need more information to be sure they weren't provocateurs. Besides which, there were some early reports of protestors shooting police during a truce.

No, your propaganda isn't working. Look at the world around you. Not one country is better off because the "peaceful protestors" got their way. If Ukranians didn't like their president, they should've done something about it next election. That's the whole point of democracy.

“...A pansy former Community Organizer faces down a hard core former KGB Head of Federal Security? What could possibly go wrong?...”

That cartoon pretty much sums it up. It would be funny if it weren’t so true.
He’s real “tough” with his “subjects” here at home. Too bad he doesn’t deal with Putin the same way he deals with his “subjects”. He doesn’t because he know he’ll get his ass whooped...and good. Knowing Putin, he probably has a couple of nuke subs off each coast with nukes pointed at LA and NY just daring the little bathhouse darling to do something real stupid.

Reading through the “Proclamation” my thoughts were, could this be the starting wedge, the “Camels nose under the canvas”...
(SEC 7)No due Process
(SEC)8)All Agencies of the US, {Turning loose IRS?}
My first question was who will define all of the minutia, my fear is it will be a committee of his CZARS

Wedgie anyone!

Yup...this was on some of the blogs yesterday...declaration of a National Emergency...for the United States! Odd wording really, but if 0’bummer screws up the handling of the situation...we will have a National Emergency on our hands.
