Thugs never think about who is going to be the last person they see.
It certainly improves my opinion of Chicago.
It should be very interesting to watch the direction of Detroit and Chicago as opposed to east coast cities which are going in exactly the opposite direction in regard to guns and crime.
Maybe we need to encourage thug migration to safer hunting grounds.
Yea, would you rather be clad in just your underwear or have time to put on a robe before you shoot?
“Maybe we need to encourage thug migration to safer hunting grounds.”
Not sure I completely understand where you’re coming from, but if you mean having Feral Blacks “migrate” out into the country where sporting firearms can be used and innocent bystanders are out of the field of fire, I’d support that. That the poor inner city folks have had to content with feral criminals along with poverty has been one of the failings of our government, and the answer is simple, let all people have a reasonable means of defending themselves. You are never going to get guns out of the hands of the criminal element, so the only reasonable alternative is to allow the “potential victims” to arm themselves legally. Three cheers for Detroit that their new Police Chief. The light at the end of their tunnel is no longer the train coming.
> They say the homeowner is shaken up.
If you kill someone protecting yourself or your family, you will feel bad. The last thing you want to do is kill someone, but it does stay on the list.
Exactly, the best part of this story other than a ferrel yute getting lead skooled is the comment from the Chief...
“It’s a message to the criminals - stop coming in to people’s homes unannounced and uninvited. Crime no longer pays in the city of Detroit,” says Dep. Chief Rodney Johnson of the Detroit Police Department.
“”It’s a message to the criminals - stop coming in to people’s homes unannounced and uninvited”
The nerve of them not waiting for an engraved invitation to come rob the house. No rsvp either.
I think everyone is being too hard on the homeowner for not plugging the second guy, who was most likely still on the ground when the first guy was climbing into the window. The second perp probably IMMEDIATELY high-tailed it out of there as soon as he heard the gunshot and his compatriot hit the dirt. Since it was night time, the homeowner probably never got a good look at the second perp.
When I first read this I thought it said “Detroit homeowner FINALLY shoots intruder.”
There have been 5 or 6 in the past week alone.
Most criminals ring the doorbell to see if anyone answers. No answer, so they think there is no one at home. That has a tendency to be a fatal mistake for 0 bummer's sons of late.
Preach it, Brother.
HOORAY Detroit homeowners!
Criminals wanting to confiscate stuff. Sheesh, who do they think they are government employees? /sarc
Another young aspiring rapper, shot down while innocently looking for a venue to perform while turning his life around.
Criminals know that with a cop, all they have to do is throw up their arms and surrender. Chances are they’ll be back out on the street in a day or two.
They can’t count on that working with an armed citizen.
-——The home is on Penrod Street, near Tireman Avenue and the Southfield Freeway on the city’s west side-—
Just in case you want to find the man to kill him
“The best part is that the police are actively and openly encouraging it.”
Exactly!
