The House on Thursday rejected a Democratic resolution that condemned Oversight & Government Affairs Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) for shutting down a committee hearing without letting any Democrat speak.
With dozens of Democrats standing by her, Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio) proposed the resolution Thursday morning, a day after Issa held a combative hearing with a former IRS official involved in the IRS targeting scandal.

Elijah Cummings especially. Whatever his accomplishments during the civil rights era have been overshadowed by his seditious/downright treasonous behavior since that time.

I had to watch NBC nightly news last night, to see how Brian Williams reported it. As a FReeper said yesterday, the ONLY purpose of Cummings outburst/outrage, was to change the narrative. Sure enough, Brian Williams spent about 3 seconds telling us how Lois Lerner was again pleading the 5th, and then something about “...the real story is that Issa cut off Cummings’ mike.....”.
This is what they are going for, today, with this sideshow meant to deflect all media attention away from the scandal, which has not one iota of corruption involved.
Cummings and the CBC is the embarrassment! What a phony bunch of commie socialists, doing their best to give away everything that you I worked for!
He should have offered to step down on the condition that Trey Gowdy be given the chair.

According to Engelbrecht, Cummings used his power to harass and intimidate True the Vote and may have encouraged the IRS and other agencies to target her organizations.
"Congressman Cummings on three separate occasions sent letters on letterhead from this committee, stating that he had concerns and felt it necessary to open an investigation on True the Vote," she said.
Cummings should be under investigation and under arrest not on the committee.
Catherine Engelbrecht ripped Elijah a new one and she was dead on the money, she was definitely not bashful and it’s a shame more Republicans won’t fight like she does.

Seeing as the congressional black caucus represents but 15% of the population of the USA they sure seem to have quite the overinflated sense of importance. They act like this nation is all about them. Just like their feckless leader. All these little two-bit moron factions think they gotta come first. The libs, the gays, the greenies, all the freaks of the world and they’re all screaming for attention, like the two-year-olds they are?! I mean all of them together don’t add up to a hill of beans, yet they act like they matter?! In the grand scheme of things they ain’t worth a broke dick. It’s enough to give one a permanent headache.
Were the Democrat Representatives going to take the Fifth also?
