It is interesting that they refer to evolution in both the title and in the paper, yet none of the article actually has anything to do with evolution. A more accurate description would be “why Kleiber’s Law is true”.
To claim a connection to evolution they need to show that older species were less energy-efficient, I do not see this being done.
