Democrats fled the vote Wednesday, trying to evade reporters asking why they voted “yes” or “no.”

Durbin said, before conceding there also was a threat of retaliation from law enforcement advocacy groups, who opposed Adegbile’s nomination.

Well, at least they stuck the truth in if you read to the end.

I’m surprised Harry let the vote proceed if he knew he didn’t have the votes. Makes me thing he got the outcome he wanted; kill the nomination and blame it on Republicans.

Odd the Coons voted with us, he doesn’t really have cause to be worried about reelection in Delaware.

I have no use for the so-avowed Marxist Chris Coons. However, I will give him praise for (once, at least) doing the right thing.

The ‘’vulnerable’’ Democrats seeking re-election this year are vulnerable on two fronts:

They’re vulnerable to the voters, because of their support for ObamaCare and other unpopular policies;

and they’re also vulnerable to threats from Harry Reid and other Democratic leaders that election funds will be withheld from those who don’t vote as Harry Reid orders them to do.

So, every Senate Democrat up for re-election was hurt to some degree by yesterday’s vote. The ones who voted for it will be targeted by police organizations, whose ads will hurt them with voters; and the seven who voted against it will be hurt by having campaigns funds withheld. Great job, Harry.
