Facebook to Gun Control Groups: We're Not Selling Anything

Amid reports that talks between Facebook, Instagram, and gun control groups are "progressing," a Facebook spokesman says the social media site is not an online retailer and does not sell anything--including guns.

It’s just unreal that a social media site - which in itself is nothing more than an updated web portal like Yahoo, Excite, and Lycos were in the 1990s - has made billionaires out of 20-somethings. Anyone remember Classmates.com?

Frankly, I know a large number of Catholics who are not going on Facebook for Lent. I would join them, but want to see how this plays out.

I already posted this story on my wall and stated if Facebook bans firearm-related posts and sites, I am gone.

Let them know what will happen.
