If we take back the Senate next year, we’ll consider bringing back the filibuster for appointments

“And Democrats in the minority presumably would not filibuster administration choices.”

Wow. How short-sighted can these RINO idiots be? What happens when we get a Republican president in 2016? You think the Dems won’t go back to filibustering EVERY nominee, as a matter of course?

We already know the RINOs will not have the stones to remove the filibuster on their own when they have the chance and need to push nominees through.

If McConnell “leads the Senate” next year there will be no improvement in the Senate and no improvement in the USA’s descending trajectory. McConnell will fight to save obamacare and the wetbacks. McConnell is a functional Democrat and takes his lead from the official Democrats if not actual orders.

Translation: If the Republicans win control of the Senate, McConnell will let the Democrats continue to run the Senate.

He really lacks the killer instinct, doesn’t he? We are supposed to vote a certain way because he is nicer than Dirty Harry? Really?

I figured from the git-go that if the D’s lose control of the Senate and R’s don’t have the 60+ votes, all these little ‘speed bumps’ Reid and Co threw in just in case the R’s got some spine and wanted to block something, will be thrown out in the ‘dead period’ between the ‘transfer of power’.

If McConnell were to be reelected, the first OFFICIAL order of business should be to vote him out.
Can imagine those ‘good Re’s and RINOS’ banding together and letting a D be speaker rather than a Conservative....

I’m looking forward to New leadership if we should take over the Senate..and McConnell isn’t part of it..

He has not done a good job as Minority leader, why would he be Majority leader??

First order of business is IMPEACHMENT.

What about Ayotte, Murkowski and McCain uniting with Democrats only needing 51 votes to endorse the worst picks.
