Just what does the Constitution matter to Obama?

The question is “What are we conservatives going to do about it and when are we going to do it?”

You King needs no "constitutional authority".
He is your King. He is EXEMPT.
He controls the IRS and NSA.
Bow now, and put your cracker necks beneath our feet."

He doesn’t need Constitutional authority. The Constitution is moot if the other branches of the federal government and we the people are willing to stand by and allow this brazen lawless corruption of our system!

My sense is that the GOP establishment can’t wait to get their hands on the levers of power so they can get away with all the stuff Obama has. Unfortunately for them it doesn’t work that way.

Has the Republican leadership taken any steps whatsoever? No."

Well a couple of congressmen have said that they're really thinking about filing article of impeachment. I guess they just haven't gotten around to it yet. </sarcasm>

Obviously the constitution no longer matters to the WH, congress nor the supreme court so expect that the obozo to remain in the WH unless or until he is arrested and removed. An Article V constitutional convention will mean nothing unless the people are willing to back it up. If one believes they will, then why is this constitution being circumvented now without consequence? Old law, new law, so what? An American spring like the ones in Egypt and Ukraine may get the ruling elites attention and guaranteed, the people will not like their response. Just saying.

“But nobody appears to want to stop him,” said Levin. “Has the Republican leadership taken any steps whatsoever? No."

Of course they don't want to stop him. They all want the same things he does, and are perfectly willing to let him take the heat for doing what they want. The GOPe wants liberalism, the SCOTUS under Roberts wants it, so Obastard is free to operate without any checks in place.

I used to think the only difference between the GOP and the Rats is the GOP wants to be the ones in charge of big government, but I've come to realize they're OK with riding in the back seat, just so long as they get to go on the power trip too.

We conservatives don't have any representation at all in DeeCee, and probably haven't since Reagan.

Admit I “stole” this from another blog while looking up how Obama complained the Constitution “restricts” him. It’s priceless:

“Catching a glimpse of a Sasquatch in the wild is more likely than seeing Obama respect our Constitution (...no, Michelle hasn’t been hiking lately)”

Thank you for referencing that article jazusamo. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at Levin and not at you.

I’m not a fan of Levin. This is because I’m very suspicious of “conservatives” like Levin who don’t reference specific constitutional clauses when they complain about Obama & Congress.

That said, I woudn’t be surprised if Levin didn’t mention Congress’s constitutional Section 8, Article I-limited powers, or that many of Obama’s executive orders don’t have the force of law because the Constitution’s Section 1 of Article I clarifies that all federal legislative powers are vested in Congress, not in the executive and judicial branches.

Corrections about what Levin said are welcome.

Just remember what Lysander Spooner said. Either the Constitution permits the government we have, or it is powerless to prevent it.

However, the Constitution is not self-executing. Ultimately we the people must enforce it. If we lack standing in the courts, and if Congress allows itself to become superfluous, there is still the Second Amendment.
