Leave it to the thin skinned Apple fanboys to miss an obvious joke.

Seems you're too funny by half as no one else seems to have gotten the joke either. I guess it could have worked circa 1995, but now it just makes you look out of touch.

What I think is ‘funny’ is how so many self stated conservatives have a choice of computers and WILLINGLY give their cash to the -biggest- purveyor of leftism in the tech world. And are vocally proud of their Apple loyalty no less.

Sorta like the self stated ‘Christians” that hit the bar and whorehouse saturday night and the church house sunday morning, praying to beat the band and secure in their holiness.

Because Apple makes an outstanding product: what could be more conservative than that?

Sorta like the self stated ‘Christians” that hit the bar and whorehouse saturday night and the church house sunday morning, praying to beat the band and secure in their holiness.

So Rush Limbaugh hasn't moved conservatism ahead enough for ya?

And tell me, how many of these Christians that act as you claim exist anywhere but your petulant imagination? I've met exactly zero in my life, and I've been to plenty of bars, as well as churches.

Rush, like others needs to practice what they preach. Apple is what it is. Excuses do not change that.

Who's making excuses? I'm just poking at someone whose "difference of opinion" is predicated on "confirmation bias" and dodging questions that don't confirm that bias.

Lots of people make excuses as to why they send their money to a company that proudly supports all the things conservatism is against. Every day. Right here on FR.

But they are still excuses and they are still giving their cash directly to the worst of the bunch. But if they ‘feel’ better it’s a quality product I suppose that overcomes all the damage that their cash does to America’s traditional values, laws and the rest.

Cuz you know...it’s a quality product.

Then perhaps you should consider the validity of their point instead of trying to make "conservative" synonymous with "luddite."

In case you haven't noticed, Apple's contribution to the erosion of American values is a pale shadow next to the "mainstream" PC.

Consider the fact that even with the internet being absolutely awash with porn, you can't get a frame of it from the iTunes store.

You fanboys crack me up. I was an early adopter of Netware and made a lot of money at it. When NT came out, it was little more than Windows 3.1 but by 3.5 it was something and I moved with the times. Now, if Apple had a large installed base in business, I would work with Apple products. I like the MAC, I don’t like Apple as a company. I even own an Iphone which I admittedly got for free and thought it was great, for about a month and then I started hating it. It’s Apple’s way or the highway. I’ll stick with Microsoft and Linux for the networks I design.

Apple is happy to be hip with their geniuses and hipster doofi installed base but how stupid are they that they have someone who loves their product but won’t use him to advertize it because he’s Rush Limbaugh?

I take it you didn’t go to the link I provided where HISHE combined Terminator and Back to the Future.

Enjoy your joyless world.

This logic thing doesn't really work for you does it? You may have had a valid point if porno wasn't available via Apple devices but you know it is. So you can't get it at the Itunes store, what is this point you are attempting and failing to make?

Man, Apple fans are whiny.

According to U.S.News UCLA is number twenty three as is USC. Berkeley is now number twenty by the same set of rankings. It is inept corrupt government leading to diversity that is killing California schools.

Why consider a mistaken point? That makes no sense.

It’s a fact that Apple contributes large amounts of money and actively campaigns for things detrimental to America. That money comes from the people buying their products.

As I look at my computer gear I see neither Apple nor Luddite. Try harder. No check that. Stop trying. The facts do not support your position.

I'll tell briefly a personal story that illustrates your point. In 1965 I was a high school junior intending to become an architect, and because I had a California state scholarship money for tuition was irrelevant in my school choice. There were then only three accredited schools of architecture, USC, Cal Poly SLO, and Cal Berkeley. In '65 the free speech uproar at Berkeley, and Gov. Reagan's response to it, made it look possible that he would shut it all down--so Berkeley was out for me. As a city boy, San Luis Obispo was unappealing, which left SC and its excellent reputation for its professional schools.

So, conservative Reagan kept me out of Berkeley, but he saved the university itself.

Will do! I had my fill of playing "war" with the little $@&$ who screams "YOU MISSED," even when I had my index finger stuck in his ear, when I left the playgrounds of my childhood.
