Really. The NFL is the biggest whorehouse in the world. Money is everything. If the millionaires and billionaires who own it think they can increase their wealth by sucking off homosexuals, they will do it-- and with a smile.

The fans be damned and the players as well. They do not care about the fans. They do not care about the players. They do not care about the game. They care about maximizing their wealth, and that alone drives them to their inane decisions.

... and prohibit discrimination based on age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation ...

Let's see. The states have amended the Constitution to expressly protect religious expression as evidenced by the 1st Amendment, and also voting rights on the basis of race, gender and age, evidenced by the 15th, 19th and 26th Amendments respectively. But the states have never amended the Constitution to protect so-called sexual orientation rights in any context. So the states are free to make laws which discriminate on the basis of such “rights,” as long as such laws don't also unreasonably abridge constitutionally enumerated rights.

Therefore, if the NFL is really concerned about protecting gay "rights" within the framework of the Constitution, then the NFL needs to do the following. The NFL needs to work with state and federal lawmakers to propose a gay rights amendment to the states for ratification. And if the Article V supermajority of states choose to ratify such an amendment, and I don't think that's likely, then gay rights will be constitutionally protected and the NFL will be a hero.

On the other hand, Christians need to be careful not to be a stumbling block for people who are struggling with same-sex temptation, but who would nonetheless be receptive to the good news of Jesus. (Are you listening Westboro Baptist Church?) In fact, Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 that certain members of that Church had formerly been involved in same-sex sexual relationships, but had evidently repented and accepted God's grace to turn their lives around.

Gee, I surely hope that (if NFL does the obsequiously obedient, fifth column, long march, family value-hating, politically approved retreat and surrender) that there won't be a sponsor boycott or fan strike.

If they want to be political the NFL and all other sports has to pay taxes.

If religious institutions have to pay if political these over sized numb-skulls have to pay taxes.

A lot of people all together don’t make as much as the teams and league, they have been getting away cheap.

Get rid of the NFL (keep the cheerleaders, though).

They’ve basically ruined the sport, anyway.

Importantly, the homosexual lobby is truly scared of this Arizona law. I suspect if she does sign it, there are going to be clones of it popping up in other states, and quickly.

So it might not matter if it is overturned by a limp wristed federal judge. The more states that sign on, the more it breaks their momentum.

You know you are doing something right, when the left freaks out about it.

New reporter: “Now what do I write?”
Editor: “Did you finish story #5?”
New reporter: “Yes, I got quotes from Republican ‘moderates’.”
Editor: “Then do story #6 and ask the NFL if they’d pull the Superbowl. Were you drunk and stoned the whole semester J schoool was teaching how to use the DNC press guide? I can’t believe what passes J school these days. How can ayone who can’t follow the DNC Guide call themselves a journalist?”
New reporter: “Yes, Chief.”
Editor: “And don’t call me Chief!”

It could just be a judged competition consisting of the best fruity gyrating celebration dance or self-congratulatory chest pounding display. It would definitely fit with the new direction the NFL wants to explore with the upmost inclusivity.

Let them. Who needs the crummy NFL Superbowl? All the economic analysis has shown that it COSTS more than any city or state ever profits. Better to just have a few pro teams and a good college team or two.

Arizona will survive nicely without it
