Not familiar with National City but I have done business Ares Armor in the past.

National City is near San Diego. I googled it.
SOMEONE has a bee in his/her bonnet. This whole thing sounds VERY personal.

People in that town need to respond in force to not only get the government to back down, but force whoever threatened them to be FIRED
Backing down is not enough

"Take down the sign or go to jail.
We do not approve of guns...or you."
So the CITY police do not carry guns? They do not carry .40 cal Glock 22's? They do not have a cache of M-16's?
What they do not approve is private, law-abiding citizens having guns. Only the state must have guns, and the people must cower in fear to assure their obedience.
God save America from the Democrat/Progressive/Liberal Christ-hating Nazi's who have already lied and cheated their way into control of much of our government.

Finally some candor from the left. Like New York, California will eventually declare political dissidents second class citizens and attempt to banish or at least disenfranchise them.

The store should sue the city for civil rights violations, of both the 1st and 2nd amendments.

"Take down the sign or go to jail. We do not approve of guns...or you."Uh, Lord Azzhole? Doing something you don't like isn't actually a punishable offense. Depriving someone of their Constitutional rights as a civil servant or elected official, IS, however, and I believe cuts through the legal immunity you receive when you're carrying out your duties properly. Assuming you've ever done that.

They didn’t even try to pass some ordinance banning it, they just bullied him.
