Its hard times in Venezuela these days. The economy is in shambles, crime is spiraling, and the opposition is leading increasingly strident protests on the streets. To make matters worse, President Nicolás Maduro cant even deal with the crisis from the comforts of the presidential palace.
Constitutionally, of course, Maduro has been able live in La Casona, a luxurious villa in the heart of the capital, since he was sworn in last year. The only problem: Almost a year after Maduros predecessor, Hugo Chávez, passed away, his three grown childrenMaria Gabriela, Rosa Virginia and Hugo Jr.are still living in the villa. Apparently, they have no intention of leaving.
The two daughters have allegedly converted La Casona into a social club for friends of the family. According to recent media reports, neighbors complain of deafening parties. Fast-food restaurants and catering agencies refuse to deliver to the mansion, allegedly, because the Chávez kids have stopped paying their bills. Even concert organizers are complaining; Chavezs daughters allegedly force them to hand over dozens of free tickets so they can share them with their friends.

Imagine, they would be required to go out and interact
with the common people, the masses, who they adore.
Well duh. She’s “entitled”. That’s what the “elite” do.
Wow, crazier and crazier.
Meanwhile they arrested the opposition leader for crimes government backed thugs carried out (Minister of Prisons even gave the thugs an attaboy on Twitter)
She is fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugly.
They are tempting fate. That’s a good way to get stripped and hanged upside down in the town square like Il Duce and his girlfriend.
*SHUDDER*
“...his three grown childrenMaria Gabriela, Rosa Virginia and Hugo Jr.are still living in the villa.”
Typical indolent and arrogant commies. They learned their lessons well.
Like Algore not leaving Blair House???
Smells of sulfur too. Hmmmm. Wonder where that comes from? Maybe it’s Eau d’Cauldera.
Under what power does this happen? They gonna shoot the concert promoters? Good luck getting new concerts.
So, are the protestors Chavez supporters, or what?
Seems that if Chavez cronies are in the chambers of government numerous enough to keep the Chavez rug rats in the President’s quarters, and the president out, then Chavez rules from the grave, leaving Maduro serving as no more than a dinner host st state functions.
Øbongo’s kids are watching with interest...
When did Al Gore refuse to leave Blair House?
That appears to be pretty much the case. The people holding most of the power were Chavez appointees, not Maduro appointees. They don't owe him anything, and could have him taken out it Maduro tried to cross them.
I would imagine the fat one on Hugo’s right is even fatter now.
No. The Mighty Fat One has so many millions stashed away she’s set for life.
During the Florida election dispute, IIRC.
The DC chapter of FR staged outside the VP residence with signs that told Gore to “Get out”.
