Drugs were in the room where two former Navy SEALs were found dead aboard the Maersk Alabama, a ship that was the focus of a 2009 hijacking dramatized in the movie "Captain Phillips," a company spokesman said Thursday.
Police from the African island nation of Seychelles have given no cause of death for Mark Daniel Kennedy, 43, and Jeffrey Keith Reynolds, 44. The Americans were security contractors who were found dead Tuesday in a cabin on the ship while berthed in Port Victoria in the Indian Ocean.
"We are saddened by the tragedy and our thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased men," Maersk Line Ltd. spokesman Kevin Speers said in a statement.

I believe the Somalis consider this payback for capping those three skinny’s that held Phillips. Drugs were a plant. Just my opinion.

Seals are not choir boys. Especially 45 year old men who live at sea and in foreign ports. Probably not the type of guys to be found at the church bake sale.
Well, the Seychelles are a bunch of islands that are a major resort area. Kinda like Africa’s Hawaii. Look at a lot of those fru-fru calenders of exotic islands, you’ll find nice pics of the place. Considering that a number of resort areas have drug problems (like Miami) sadly, it doesn’t surprise me all that much.

Autopsies are performed in the jurisdiction where the death occurred.

Well, it could have been something like a bad batch of heroin, and they both shot up from it, that wouldn’t be too unusual. Look at Phillip Seymour Hoffman, they cut that crap with all sorts of very strong opiates that can kill you easily.
We stayed there for a week. It is more like Europe’s Hawaii. Most of the tourists were from Germany/Italy. From what we could tell we were the only American’s there.
In another similar “mysterious” case involving 2 female American tourists in the Seychelles, the autopsy took place in Mauritius
