Survey shows growing distrust against the euro in France

Less than a hundred days before the European Parliament elections, French citizens are less and less attracted by the EU project, according to the latest opinion polls, with a quarter now in favor of quitting the eurozone and reintroducing the franc, EurActiv France reports.

42% of surveyed French citizens think that the country’s EU membership is a good thing, a six-point decrease compared to April 2012, according to the survey by OpinionWay for TV news channel LCI and Le Figaro newspaper. […]

Another fundamental EU policy, the free movement of persons, is also increasingly disliked by the French. A survey published on 15 February shows that 59% of the French want restrictions put on the free movement of EU citizens, as recently voted in Switzerland. …

It took them this long to figure out that the Euro is just a scheme to take money from the productive countries and give it to the basket case countries?
Germany’s hard working people are giving money to lazy corrupt slobs in Greece, through the Euro.

Everything with these people (leftists) is about redistribution of income.

Missing dimension: German elites want to give Greece “bailout” loans in order to gain a political advantage over them. They aren’t listening to the wishes of their home electorate, take note.

Also, Greece initially refused the bailout loans due to the terms; these terms were not set by the European Union by itself. That caused the Greek government to fall and be replaced by a government receptive to the loans.

France should consider going back to the franc and talk to the Germans about going back to the mark. They could be greater exporters and avoid being dragged down with propped-up currencies by international moguls.
