Get your popcorn ready.
Lucky that our crack Sec. State is in the region and should be able to throw some gasoline on this fire.
In my humble opinion this story is a ruse to support iran acquiring nukes. In essence, I agree with you.
You can talk to us Fennie ... We don’t bite hard.
Unless you say something stupid.
Come on Fennie ... I have nothing to hide. Me and my Monkey are calling for your opinion. What do you think Fennie?
Yet another reason why all of our people should have been out of Afghanistan years ago.
Maybe a post Golf vacation for the family as well.
It's a Sunni/Shia thing.
Pakistan is Sunni, with a minority shia population.
Iran is almost all Shia, with a few Sunnis.
The Sunnis consider Shias heretics, like the Catholics consider Protestants heretics,in Christianity.
The differences in Islam and Christianity results in much harder and aggressive results in Islam. You kill heretics and Infidels in Islam.
Christianity is a much milder religion, love you neighbor no matter what his beliefs, be kind and helpful forgive and forget; so the Christian differences are not as volatile as those in Islam. - tom

What about Obamas legacy?
Obama’s legacy will be a nuclear war and the destruction of the best health care system in the world.
“Sistan Baluchistan, which borders both Afghanistan and Pakistan, has been the scene of frequent clashes in recent years between Iranian security forces and drug smugglers and Sunni rebel groups.
In October, Jaish al-Adl said it was behind the killing of 14 Iranian border guards and the capture of three others in Sistan Baluchistan.
The authorities in the provincial capital, Zahedan, responded by hanging 16 people they claimed were “linked to groups hostile to the regime”.
In November, Jaish al-Adl shot dead a local prosecutor and his driver. The next month, a bomb blast killed three Revolutionary Guards.”

Sounds like a rough neighborhood.

Sounds like this fight goes beyond Shiite-Sunni, and is also Persians versus Baluchis.
I guess they want to be like their old pal Hitler and fight several countries on many fronts.
Did the Baluchis eat ‘em?
The question for China and Russia is how to take the US out of world affairs while leaving its markets intact.
Without our market, China collapses.
Without our market, Europe collapses, and the Russians sell less, way less, oil.
