Unable to guarantee adequate medical care for its citizens, the Quebec Government is turning to euthanasia.
The law would allow 14 year olds to refuse treatment without the consent of their parents.
Also in the French version, other witnesses including Luc describe the potential abuses by politicians, hospital administrators, the medical profession and families in a money driven society where certain lives would be deemed less worthy to live because of financial pressures.

The libs want this in the USA too. Libs love death: abortion and euthanasia. The only lives they love are those of violent murderers.

Marian Shields Robinson, mother of former First Lady, Michelle Robinson Obama, died yesterday. In otherwise excellent health, an autopsy determined that the cause of death was a relatively simple to repair coronary artery blockage. She was 80 years old.
Unfortunately, under the 2010 Affordable Health Care Act, passed in the last year of the truncated Obama Administration, the surgery necessary to clear the fatal blockage has been routinely ruled by the aptly named Dr. Jack Kevorkian Memorial Federal Death Panel as prohibited on patients over 60 years of age.
The impeached Barack Obama could not be reached for comment. On death row at the Colorado Super-Max prison, he is awaiting execution for treason against the Constitution and the people of the United States and humanity.
The Republican breakaway New Freedom Party, which began winning congressional seats in the 2014 election and completed its sweep of conventional Republicans and Democrats from office in the 2016 election, has pledged to eliminate what President Palin called “…these unfortunate and unnecessary deaths of our older citizens who have, after all, done much to build this nation.” She went on to say “Of course, we all die. But this foolishly enacted legislation is consigning countless millions of otherwise healthy, capable, often wisdom-laden loved parents and grandparents to early graves for simply corrected problems. It’s just morally wrong.”
Due to the urgency of the need, Senate Majority Leader Rand Paul (NFP, KY) has pledged to hold as many all-night sessions, 24/7 necessary to repeal the Affordable Care Act. Once finished, he promised to get on with the public executions for treason of 58 Obama officials being demanded by millions of irate taxpayers. “We’d have done this sooner but due to demand from other Western nations, the manufacturer of the Acme 2 Position Super-Deluxe Slice-O-Matic guillotine has a one year backlog.” Paul said the area in front of the Capitol has been ready for the device for 6 months.
When reached by phone for comment, former First Lady Michelle Obama, muttered a few unprintable scatological and profane terms and something about no longer being “…proud of this crappy country – not that I ever was.”
Before hanging up, she blurted that her mother died because “…those honky idiots Reid and Pelosi screwed up and forgot to insert the promised exemptions for us, the members of the ruling class and their families, from the legislation.”
Arrangements are pending but those close to the family have hinted that Mrs. Robinson will be taken to Kenya for burial. Mrs. Obama has declared that she and her daughters will remain in Kenya — eventually found to be the actual birthplace of the disgraced former usurper president — and never return to the United States.

I was unable to swallow the bag of salt (not just a grain) required to believe that.
Truthfully, the cure to euthanasia is the longstanding American tradition of revenge. In fact, when euthanasia is done on the sly, without the knowledge or permission of the family, it can *only* happen when the murderer thinks he can do so with impunity.
Granted, most families do not have the strength or resources to do so. This is why some entrepreneur should assemble a group of veterans who deeply oppose the idea of euthanasia, to offer grieving families assistance.
Once a handful of health care practitioners meet untimely ends at the hands of person or persons unknown, perhaps the light will dawn that murdering helpless people is not the right line of work.
... and the Quebec Peace Initiative has just launched a thermonuclear warhead.
Strange how any organization with the words "Human Rights" in it is now about oppression, coercion, and extermination.
