While I don’t approve of government snooping on citizens you have to be a fool to assume tweets and facebook posts aren’t monitored. I particularly lovecstories where some person claiming disability is busted by a facebook poster.
So much for military secrecy. They should all be fired and the whole military intelligence complex be reviewed and cleaned out from top to bottom.
I’ve never heard of such incompetence in many years of dealing with the military in both war and peace.
I blame it on Gen. Dempsey, a complete Politically Correct ahole and those under his immediate command.

They, and most of the world, put entirely too much stock in twits, blatherings, chatter and short blurbs of inane stupidity posted on “social media.”
I read that verb differently. I was expecting booby traps and IEDs.
Since when did terrorists use Twitter to plan their attacks. These sorts of news “stories” are more likely put out their as a psy-op to attempt to corral the populace into “correct thinking” (lets have no more of those snarky tweets about Obamacare now, comrade).
