The deal has been announced. The merger is not good for the consumer in the long run, net neutrality certainly won't benefit from there being less competition among cable, ISP providers.

This is great news. I've always been a fan of Comcast and not so much a fan of Time Warner Cable.
Now I'm rooting for Netflix and Google to gobble up Comcast.

We are already checking into Uverse. Our TWC bill is outrageous and their CSRs are in India or somewhere. It is a hassle for internet due to the email address, so I am not sure when, but we will be going elsewhere.
