Finally, the GOP only has control of one part of the branch of government. It has to get control of more branches of the government and has to unite on various issues.

Mark my words, they will gain NOTHING doing what they are doing. They LOSE their base. Any half wit can see that. Why do you think the last two morons the RINOS pushed got their asses handed to them? HINT: Because NEITHER of them stood for anything other than selling out those they demanded support them. You can't win a war with a coward in charge, and most sure as hell aren't going to march into battle following a sniveling wimp that retreats at the sign of opposition. Would you follow Mitch McConnell or John Boehner into battle? Given their track record? Cantor? Cornyn? There is your Precious RINO Leadership! Front and Center. The ONLY thing they all fight for is CONTROL over you and the POWER TO GET MORE OF IT!

Yeah Baby, then the Chamber of Commerce and LaRaza would control all 3. Amnesty for all. After all that is what the "leadership" in the House wants! Drive down wages, increase government dependancy. Make MegaFarmers and Corps. Billions! Stick the working stiff with the bill. Conservatism the RINO way!

Absolutely, and genius on Cruz’s part. Force the Rino’s out of the shadows of the senate and make them own their votes. If we want a strong conservative party to represent us we must purge congress of the Rinos who vote with the democrats. Then a conservative party can be a united force to deal with the commies.

Cruz is at this point the only potential presidential candidate that I would have any interest in voting for.

I haven't seen the vote by Senator, but I believe it killed two birds with one stone, It flushed out the RINO’s and the Red State RATS whom would have loved to moved to the right, but had to vote for cloture to get to the threshold. I suspect not one RINO/Repub will vote yes on the final vote, so a few Red State dirtbags will find some cover since I believe all they need is 50 votes now. Can you imaging the scramble of the 7 RATS in danger of getting voted whom are now out kissing Reids butt on which of them gets the coveted 5 no votes on the final Bill.

“Am I going to vote for it? Hell no!” Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said. “Isn't there some middle ground between defaulting on our debt and doing nothing to address our fiscal problems?”

I sick of these we'll “default on our debt” BS.

There is more than enough cash on hand to pay the interest on those loans.

They've been pi$$ing on my leg and telling me it's raining
For so long the local dogs mistake me for a fire hydrant

Worked on two of Grahams campaigns.. but I'm working for Lee Bright this time.

There is no message focus in the beltway GOP. Saying just pass the debt limit and we will focus on obamacare is a false choice. It isn’t going to happen. All we will get is more of the same. Big talk and no action.

Respectfully, did I miss something? There was unified - completely unified - GOP opposition to Obamacare. The House of Reps has voted to repeal it something like 40 times. The Senate GOP has tried to raise the issue, but the rules of the Senate say that the Majority Leader (Reid) controls the schedule and a supermajority (which the GOP doesn't happen to have) is necessary to circumvent. That's not talk - that's action; up to the point where they can no longer do anything (due to not holding the Senate or White House)

The thing, as I see it, is that Conservatives can choose to punish the Congressional GOP for the debt ceiling, etc - which guarantees a Dem majority Senate that can do things like confirm Obama's Exec Branch and Judicial nominees by simple majority vote AND can shield him from having to sign/veto legislation that the public may support, but the Dem base is going to by default oppose.

Or Conservatives can take a deep breath, hold it, let things like this slide and have a chance, a real chance, that a GOP House and Senate bolstered by newly-elected Tea Party Conservatives will stand up and do right by the Conservative Movement.

I understand why a lot of people see it as a roll of the dice, but IMHO the opportunity presented by getting people like Cruz, Paul and Lee into key Senate committee and subcommittee chairmanships (which they'll be entitled to) is well worth any risk involved.

We’ve been giving it a chance and letting things ride for 25 years. What has it got us ....

John McCain, Mitt Romney, Chris Cristy, John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Eddie Monster from Wisconsin. Mitch McConnell - All whom wish to punch Conservatives in the Mouth.

They are playing us all. I refuse to play their game anymore.
