WASHINGTON – Though President Obama insists the Internal Revenue Service is not guilty of political targeting of nonprofits, WND has learned the agency contracts with an avowedly “progressive” organization supported by George Soros to process data filed by smaller tax-exempt groups.

The federal agency process sends details contained in the annual filings for organizations with $50,000 in annual receipts or less to the Urban Institute, which is funded at least partly by government payments as well as contributions from far-left activist George Soros.

The IRS page directs groups to file with the Urban Institute, although apparently other providers also can file the Form 990 documentation, which is required of every nonprofit, small and large.

The IRS.gov page on the “Annual Electronic Filing Requirement for Small Exempt Organizations – Form 990-N (e-Postcard)” includes instructions to file online, and includes a direct link to the Urban Institute.

I have been through the IRS filing process for a local charitable Non-Profit, and all of what WND, Mr. Farah and Aaron Klein describe is the process I went through.

Now, the intent of the process comes clearly into the light.

Smoking Gun is not an understatement. This is similar to the NSA extreme abuse.

I ask you, HOW LONG is the List of Federal Agencies that truly must be Destroyed for the nation to survive?

It has been my contention for a long time that it truly is TIME to DownSize DC!

What really infuriates me is that these ball-less Republicans in Congress won’t do anything about it. If I were a Congressman or a Senator up there I’d stop the wheels to this whole doggone country until somebody high up in that IRS food chain goes to PRISON. It would be the first goal when I wake up, and the last one I’d think about when I went to sleep.

The tax-free Obama foundation, fast-tracked by Lois Lerner for IRS tax-exempt status, is based at a Virginia UPS store, according to its website. The organization’s IRS filings list another Virginia address that is actually a drug rehab center where the foundation does not appear ever to have been based.

As first reported by The Daily Caller, the foundation was speedily approved for IRS exemption by Lois Lerner, the self-same IRS senior official at the center of the targeting of conservative organizations that have waited over two years to receive tax exempt status. The IRS thoughtfully gave Obama Foundation retroactive fund-raising status.......which it stupidly never applied for.

The tax-exempt Barack H. Obama Foundation is run by Abon’go “Roy” Malik Obama, the half-brother of Barack Obama.

The foundation’s mission statement is “to provide people everywhere with resources to uplift their welfare and living standards in memory of dad---Barack H. Obama: in the region of his birth, Kenya, and beyond.” Its guiding principle is “the inherent belief that no one can truly enjoy the riches he has reaped if his neighbor suffers....."We seek to elevate the human condition so that everyone can live in dignity and truly enjoy having one another as neighbors.”

Despite raising more than $250,000, the alleged charity doesn’t seem to have done much. Its website claims the organization has built a madrassa and was building an imam’s house as well as some “proposed latrines,” but there is no other evidence that the nonprofit was working to “mitigate social-shortcomings in areas of education and literacy, health and well-being, poverty, and lack of community infrastructure in such basic needs such as water, electricity, shelter and sustenance,” as the site says.

Alton Ray Baysden, a former Dept of State employee, allegedly a registered Republican, who helped start the Barack H Obama foundation, declined to comment before seeing copies of a reporter’s passport and govt ID, along with a description of the article’s “motivation” and “slant.”

Repeated reporters' phone calls went to the organization’s voicemail and were not returned.

Rooms near there are few and very expensive. If you work it is hard to get off and travel there if you don't live near there.

It has been my contention for a long time that it truly is TIME to DownSize DC!

Start with the IRS, Flat tax, No more withholding. Everyone has to send a check to the government once a month. that way everyone will see how much is being handed over tot he B@$T@RD$.

Next Eliminate the Department of Education completely. Return all control back to the lowest governing body.

Next cut the funding to the EPA by at least 50%.

Before you do this require that Congress and their staff live under any and every law they pass for 2 years before the rest of the country.

You do those things and just about everything else will straighten itself out.

Close the EPA, put it back in the hands of the States.

Close the EEOC, put it back in the hands of the Employers.

Close the Department of Energy (except for the Nuke Weapons area)

Agreed. Way past time to prune the FedGov back to the size necessitated by it’s constitutional duties.

The Greatest Generation and the Baby Boomers have allowed the government to grow beyond anything necessary. We have fed the monster until now it is immense.

Time for a crash starvation diet. EVERYTHING but the military should take a 75% cut, and everything military not directly related to combat readiness should take a 50% cut. Things the FedGov have no business in should be scrapped.

The next three generation are already in debt beyond any reasonable ability to repay. Time to stop digging the hole lest it become our grave.

I think when a leading official of the IRS refused to answer Congress' questions on this subject because the answers would incriminate her in criminal acts, that question was well settled. I can't believe O'Reilley didn't hit Obama on this when the president complained that the scandal was manufactured by Fox News. "Uhhh, Mr. President, your top IRS officials are taking the 5th to avoid testifying under oath. I think that alone makes it a story"
