Socialists actively trying to eliminate the Catholic Church. So are Hollywoodians,
homosexuals,
multi-divorced-and-married,
co-habitators without marriage,
drug abusers and
many others
who want to continue their sinful lifestyle without the noisy sound of the Catholics ALWAYS in their ears propounding the Biblical/Christian values and mores...you know, the Ten suggestions COMMANDMENTS.

I'll bet the Cardinal-elect did not expect this in Spain, but . . .

Spain is a modern country and a secular one, and these types of declarations from the church have to be punished because [members of the church] are the least qualified to talk about sexual deficiencies, above all because they have hidden cases of child abuse and paedophilia, Colegas president Antonio Ferre said after filing the complaint.Honestly, this guy reasons just above the level of a rock.

Oh look, freedom of religion is being destroyed by the Homosexual worldview.
To: Mrs. Don-o
Defective? What a mild word... how about depraved and perverted?
To: Mrs. Don-o
What starts in Europe usually ends up over here. American leftists are always looking with admiration at European govs. when they start going fascist. “Gee, I wish we could throw people in prison for speaking their minds” the American lefties say to themselves. That day might eventually come. And then things might get real bloody.

A homosexual who cant achieve procreation is failing, he said. Our bodies have many defects. I have high blood pressure, a defect I have to try and correct in whatever way I can. Members of Colegas, the homosexual group behind the complaint, say that the Cardinal-elects words "clearly incit[e] hate and discrimination, a crime that they say violates constitutional guarantees.
Hate and discrimination against people with high blood pressure, apparently.

Well, “depraved and perverted” would be the behavior or conduct. “Defective” would be the way the drive manifests in the mind. It does not orient the man toward a beloved woman, which is what a non-defective sex drive would do.

Spain is a modern country and a secular one, and these types of declarations from the church have to be punished because [members of the church] are the least qualified to talk about sexual deficiencies, above all because they have hidden cases of child abuse and paedophilia (pedophilia), So how about a comparison on the percentage of Catholic priest guilty of child abuse and pedophilia, versus the percentage of homosexuals guilty of child abuse and pedophilia.
My money is on homosexuals having a much higher percentage.
And another thing, the child abuse and pedophilia that is committed by priests is mostly against boys, meaning the abuses are being committed by homosexuals who happen to be priests and who prey on young boys.

It's a good thing to remember, too, that any profession that brings men in contact with male adolescents, will draw men who are attracted (on some level) to male adolescents.
So its not a question of "priests becoming homosexuals," but rather, homosexuals becoming priests (and youth workers, athletic directors, camp counselors, theater arts instructors, child psychologists, sports docs, therapists, coaches, trainers, even children's charity philanthropists --think Jimmy Savile.)
And, as you said, the problem isn't with these professions in general, it's with homosexuals in these professions, in particular.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Pope Francis' strategy is chess, not checkers.
Keep in mind what he said as Abp of Buenos Aires:

Thanks for the ping and good for the Cardinal-elect! Hope he gets support from Rome; but I'm not holding my breath.
Speaking of appointments by Pope Francis, have you seen this:
New Secretary of State wants 'less bureaucratic' Roman Curia
The new Secretary of Statewho will soon receive a cardinals red hat-- also spoke with Avvenire about Vatican diplomacy, saying that the Holy See has no interests or strategies other than the goals of promoting peace and the common good.
What I bolded above is something I would expect from one of the Pope's well-intentioned atheists, not a spokesman for the Holy See.

Eventually some of these Church leaders will have to confront these accusations and take a stand - for the gospel of Jesus Christ. If this means imprisonment, so be it. We must pray for these people who are being threatened because they uphold the laws of Christianity.
