I agree , a sensible leader would declare Islam a cult and thus defined not eligible for protections under the 1st Amendment , and then ban it from practice in America .

Unfortunately most countries in Southeast Asia now celebrate ramadan as national holiday including the Philippines even if islamists are only minorities there, except for Indonesia.

Yes, in the far south in the east of Mindanao there is a autonomous Muslim area, and the army is always having to fight them. In my five years here, however, I have never knowingly seen a Muzie. Everything here is very Catholic.

Jolo island ain’t really on the same planet as the rest of the Phils.
The ARMM was a disastrous compromise. The fringe western islands off Mindanao are no-go muzzy ghettos.
I guess if you just claim it to be yours and no-one forcibly takes it under control, you can have it.
