I don’t think Carville is being hired with a “news” sinecure, but rather, with an “opinion” sinecure. I see nothing wrong with that since he is not there to present hard news facts only opinion, same as Powers, Colmes, Williams and Beckel. Why are FoxNews ratings so high and increasing? Because Ailes, regardless of what the leftist schmucks claim, has not allowed Fox News to be turned into a propaganda outlet for the right or the Republican Party, thus their hard news anchors present “just the facts ma’am” and their opinion shows present opinion from many different viewpoints.

I would not like to see Fox News become propagandized either, we need at least one real news channel, no matter how frustrating it is to listen to Ted O’Baxter at times or to the ultimate low information voter Beckel or the ultimate Obama “hear, speak, see no evil” water carriers like Colmes and Juan Williams. I am more convinced than ever that the last honest liberal is Kirsten Powers. But having to put up with other viewpoints is the price paid for having at least one true News channel.

I would have no problem though if someone would go to the Koch brothers and/or other rich Conservative/Tea Party backers and make the case for them to invest in a Propaganda type channel for Conservative/Tea Party causes and candidates to counter the propaganda of MSNBC, CNN, NBC, NY Times, WaPo, LA Times, ABC, CBS etc...etc.... We should be fighting fire with fire.
