GEORGE P BUSH, the 24-year-old nephew of the Republican presidential candidate and a pin-up for the party, was arrested for burglary when he was 18, according to a report yesterday.
A television station in Florida said Mr Bush was arrested six years ago for breaking into the house of a girlfriend in the Killian area of Miami.
Police were said to have drawn up a report in which he was accused of burglary and "criminal mischief", having driven his four-wheel-drive vehicle over two front lawns in the affluent suburb.

Not that I like the Bushes, but “arrested” or “convicted?” Two entirely different things.

Wait! He is part Hispanic, and breaking the law is part of their culture (look at all the "Illegals" in this country).
To hold him accountable for his actions is clearly racist!

He should have smoked pot like the Choom Gang.
Or become a democrat.
Everything is forgiven if you are a democrat.

Charges were dropped because the parents of the ex-girlfriend he was stalking decided not to press charges.

This article was written back in August of 2000 and was designed to influence the outcome of the 2000 election, just as Dan Rather’s bogus story in 2004.......

After the Cohens provided police with Bushs home address, an officer went to the residence and spoke to him and parents. But since Murry Cohen did not want to press charges, Bush was not arrested on the scene, according to the police report. When police checked back with Cohen several days later, he told a detective that he was not interested in pursuing charges against Bush, and that he wanted the matter resolved. Cohen then signed a non-prosecution form.
No mention of alcohol? Guilty of the crime of being an a**hole when he was 18?

Victim 1 stated that Suspect 1 arrived to his house and went to his daughter's window. Suspect 1 pulled the windows open and pushed the screen inward. Witness 1 and Witness 2 awoke and saw Suspect 1 climbing in the window.

If a lion of the Senate, as a grown man, can leave a young woman to drown in his car, I think one stupid incident with an ex girlfriend, as an 18 year old, isn't a political disqualifier.

Was his intent to steal or just to enter the home because his girlfriend lived there because of a tiff they had. It’s not like he didn’t know who lived there. Context applies.
To: jimbo123
He’s 24? An earlier article said he was 37.
To: autumnraine
Never mind. Saw it was written in 2000.

Witness 1 and Suspect 1 used to date each other. Both parties have been separated for 1 1/2 years. Witness 1 stated that Suspect 1 has been a problem ever since they broke up.
