But healthcare is only one issue. Who would leave the workforce just because of healthcare? You still have to feed your family, put gas in the car, pay the mortgage/rent, increase retirement funds, etc. Basket-weaving will provide none of that.

I understand that that may be the point: to force everyone to depend on the government for everything eventually. But that way lies madness, of course.
