It’s called “co-opting” the private sector.
Sam Walton and Steve Jobs are rolling over in their graves.
Eh? I thought these days Apple was Jobs less...
Yippee! We’re all gonna be Fry Cooks and Wal-Mart Greeters!

Just 6 months into Ohio’s $55M welfare to work program it is found only 257 have found jobs and only 2 are still employed after 90 days.
If they wanted to work they’d find something within the 99 weeks. Once someone has been idle that long they’ve forgotten how to work let alone the technical details of their job.
Obama to top 300 companies: Start hiring the long-term unemployed
President Barack Obama announced that he will convene a meeting of top executives from some of the countrys top companies to agree upon a set of hiring principles he says will benefit the long-term unemployed.
What we have done is to gather together 300 companies, just to start with, including, some of the top 50 companies in the country, companies like Walmart, and Apple, Ford and others, to say, Lets establish best practices, Obama told CNN host Jake Tapper in an interview excerpt aired on Thursday. Do not screen people out of the hiring process just because theyve been out of work for a long time.
Does this include Americans? Apple wants Illegal Alien Amnesty and H1B Visas...and Obama expects them to hire Americans?
This is called a dog and pony show. It’s just talk to make everybody think he’s doing something.
In recent weeks, senior White House adviser Valerie Jarrett has reached out to chief executives seeking commitments that they won’t discriminate against the long-term unemployed in hiring practices. The White House has scheduled an event highlighting the initiative for Friday.
