MSNBCs official Twitter account deleted a tweet last night that suggested conservatives wouldnt like a new Cheerios commercial featuring an interracial family set to air during the Super Bowl.
Maybe the rightwing will hate it, but everyone else will go awww: the adorable new #Cheerios ad w/ biracial family, read the tweet, which linked to an MSNBC.com story on the new ad.
Earlier, this account tweeted an offensive line about the new Cheerios ad. We deeply regret it. It does not reflect the position of msnbc.

Good thing my BS meter goes to 11; pmsnbc just pegged it!
Typical liberal nonsense. Spit out something defamatory about conservatives, wait for the backlash, and then apologize. The Left will love it because it takes a shot at conservatives plus they love people who apologize. And since the message it out and Americans for the most part have a short attention span, the damage has been done.
Hmm must be those same "Right Wingers" who mocked Mitt Romney for taking a photo with his black grandson....
MSNBC must be filled with mental ward rejects—too crazy for the nut house.
They don’t know that Conservatives/Republicans were the ones that were for Civil Rights.
The Left are the ones that want to keep other races down and on welfare.
It is exactly what they think, they just got caught saying it publicly.
I am surprised one of the MSNBC pukes didn’t make a connection with Oreo’s for a puke liberal laugh.
“It does not reflect the position of msnbc.”
It represents EXACTLY the position of msnbc!
Well. We all know she went back on the air and ‘cried’ about how bad she felt. So it is okay that they go back to a clean, even slate and slur Conservatives. It is the right thing to do. /s
Why, MSNBC, do you apologize for your sincerely held beliefs?
Cheerio’s is getting so much free advertising. They should design a new Cheerio, half chocolate, half vanilla. It would be a blast.
Dont worry, “Faux News” is the real enemy.
They’re that desperate to hold on to any viewership?
Hey, pMSNBC, project much?
This kind of stuff happens every other day.
A cynical person would have concluded that the company developing this strategy to boost their viewership.
It does not reflect the position of msnbc.
Didn’t you know? Oreo is already black slang for somebody black on the outside white on the inside. I know, it’s silly.
I will believe it when someone drawing a salary gets fired.
