CAMBRIDGE, Maryland--House Republicans responding to President Obama's State of the Union vow to move forward on a “year of action” with or without Congress say they agree and want to partner with him.
“We heard the president say this should be a year of action and that is our goal. We join the president in this effort to make this a year of action,” GOP Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers told reporters here.
The top four House Republicans also sent Obama a letter this morning outlining areas of agreement where the two can collaborate.
The letter notes, “Of course, under our Constitution, most action requires the Congress and the President to work together.”
The letter does not include any language on immigration, though a press conference was consumed with questions from reporters on the topic. Speaker John Boehner continued his silence on forthcoming immigration “principles,” saying he needs to discuss the issue with the Republican conference.
Play with snakes, you will get bit. I guess these jerks did not learn that or choose to not recall what has happened every time they have met with the POS half way. Half way becomes, well, you came half way so lets agree for you to go the whole route.
These guys cannot be this stupid. What they are doing is criminal.

Well, in reality the only vendetta is his own vendetta against America and its traditional values and its very Constitution, since the day he set foot in the White House and long before.
President Obama, (aka Barry Soetoro, it is you, who are the phony here, you and those abetting and supporting the atrocious actions by you and your sick administration.

In microcosm, this obscure quote illustrates everything that is wrong with the republican establishment. If this woman and her colleagues were serious about taking a strong part in governing, she would have said this:
" We are glad to note that the president has chosen at last to join us in taking constructive action to pare back the burdens of bureaucracy and corruption in the federal government. We will watch with expectation to see whether he lives up to his stated intentions and joins us in bipartisan corrective actions."
Ouch.
She seems Democrat-inclined being from WA state, but supposedly she is pro-life.
You mean like Richard Lugar coming into GA to endorse the new Democrat Nunn.
